Starting to see problems vary from car to car. I had no wear on my tires even after 25k miles on lowered suspension. When I installed my Eibach springs the only thing I did was adjust the camber as far as it would go to try and correct for the lowering. Have not had any alignment work done on mine. I'm on new tires now but only because I went to 18s. Had 35K when I switched and I am at 45K now.

As I understand it, cupping occurs most often from bad struts. Just like my wheel bearings, I am having a hard time believing struts failing at 50k. That being said, I may spring (pun intended) for a set of BC coilovers anyway, so if I do, that will replace the rear struts that still may be causing some bouncing vibration in the suspension. A tire in back sounds like it is cupped but the look smooth, so that may be one of the struts.
I wouldn't be at all surprised that these tires are noisy, either. Heck, the reality is that I really don't need performance oriented tires on this heavy Dart anyway, so first chance I get I really wanna put something quieter on this car. Been looking for another set of factory wheels, 17's, in hyper black, so I can mount the new tires to, but haven't found any within driving distance. I wanted to go 18's but I wanted quieter tires and 18's don't really support that option for me.
I'll keep looking.

frieslanddart2013, I hope you're right about Moog and that they may make an adjustable control arms for our Darts.

I just replaced my rear brake rotors and pads. They were very badly worn. Most of the noise and vibration left coming from the rear of my car is gone now. The inner pads were very badly worn into the rotors and, I'm betting, were acting like the grooves in an old LP record, transmitting noise into the car from these grooves. My car sounds really awesome now!
I also just bought new wheels and tires from Tire Rack to get rid of the scalloped tires. My concern was, from when I first got the car, that the previous owner, who admitted he bought used tires to put on the car to sell it, may have put scalloped tires in the car without realizing it. This may be the only way to find out if the car scallops the tires or not. So I'm starting with new tires to see if they wear badly going forward. Time will tell now.

I hadn't thought about brakes making noise like what I am hearing. Usually think of the squealing of worn brakes. Not the droning.

I honestly had never seen brakes worn like this. I wonder if it's a design issue or just very cheap original parts. I bought the Stoptech rotors and pads, all four wheels. Surprisingly inexpensive too. Oh, and sporty looking! Holes and slots and stuffs! LOL! I feel like a kid again!

The most common cause of tire cupping are excessive toe/camber, play in balljoints, or worn control arms.

Yeah, but in this case I still think the previous owner bought tires with cupping symptoms as used tires just to sell the car. He told me that he bought used tires because his tires were beat, just to sell the car since he didn't want to pay for new tires with the car being for sale (recent).

Thanks for the additional input, though.
