Be careful where you buy!!!!

I am stationed in Hawaii ad 3 days ago bought my dodge dart limited. when I bought it I got all the upgraded features on the inside to include the navigation so I was told and assumed. Bad idea, I should have checked before leaving because I got home to find out I didn't have the nav button on the screen. So I went back to the dealer to findout what happened and apparently in Hawaii the navigation doesn't work because it runs through Sirius? anyways they are ordering me the unit with the navigation because the had also thought It had it but apparently the dealer removed it or something just a thought though check all your stuff before you leave!!!!! hopefully they will fix this for me whe I take it back to get the part I originally pid for when I bought the car installed for free!!!

What does sirius have to do with the nav? I thought the nav on Dodges where garmins?

Nav on mine says Garmin. They just share the same screen.

No real nav systems work through sirius. They work via satellites in geosynchronous orbit around the earth. Cell phone mapping works through your carrier but cost data minutes.
