Angry 2016 Dart GT Cooling problems

Is anyone else having cooling issues with the GT? My wife's is still under warranty (22K), but today makes 3 visits to the dealer in two weeks. First it was heating and going up to a coolant temp of 220 F. I told the service department that it had coolant, so it almost certainly needed a thermostat. They told me that the "Dodge People" insisted they reflash the ECU first. They did, I took it home, and the same overheat occurred. Took it back, this time they replaced the thermostat. (duh)

Just drove it for first longer drive yesterday, heated back up to 220 F again. This time, I noticed that it ran cooler (about 200 F) if I was at speed (outside temp about 55 F). Heated up to 220 while idling at a stop light. I got out at the store with the temp reading 210 F and checked under the hood, and the radiator fans were not running. Is this just bad mechanic service, or is there a faulty temp sensor unit in the "woodpile?"

Do Darts have issues with radiator fans or temp sensors?

Is it possible that the coolant channels in the block to become plugged by something?

I also read that some of these cars use movable panels to restrict airflow. Do these develop a problem, too? Three visits in two weeks is getting into Lemon Law territory. I would think that the dealer's mechanics would be familiar with the model and any issues that crop up, so they could repair it right the first time.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
