you have to be a member for 15 days and have at least 75 posts for an avatar

yeah i know its not the be-all-end-all of life, but still, i use the same one everywhere so its kind of like my identity and since this site is still so new, and i haven't been able to have it, i feel somewhat.....nude

You know, you tend to forget how some of these things work until you join another forum. I've joined a few other Z forums over the past couple of years but don't have no where near enough posts to qualify.

Well just looking back at the hierarchy, you should be able to have an avatar but the size is limited. There are a few items like a sig or profile pic that you have to meet the above requirements.

Most Forums I use ( Peugeot , Medical & Aviation ) you get to put your Avatar up straight away !!!! You have to wait a little while longer to put up a Sig Pic !!

but now that i look at it, it seems different than i've seen it before, but yeah i stall cant upload an avatar. i have a profile pic, but its not the same

Maybe your avatar exceeded the size limit, it increases some after the 15 days/75 post requirement.

You got it! I noticed the same thing on one of the other ones on the 1 year anniversary for the additional rep point. It showed up sometime middle of the afternoon.

GT finally got the groups setup on here and i finally added my avatar!! i feel like a whole person again LOL

My avatar of my car is my.... image. The only image I'd have is a picture of my neon and my rambler with the neon having glow on it.
