I am working on a 2013 Dart base model with some minor front bumper damage. When the car came in the left side parking lights and tail lamp would not go off, ever.
I took the front bumper off and the headlight out and can see no wiring issues at all. The only way we can turn the left lights off is to disconnect the battery or unplug the lights. I have checked bulbs, connections, grounds, and disconnected the battery but nothing works. The lights are still on.
Any Ideas? The local Dodge dealer would not touch the car till the bumper repairs are done and I would sure like to find the problem so we won't have to take the car thirty miles to the dealer when we are done.
Although I would get to drive the car that way.
Thanks for any help

I'm not familiar with these but if they are like the rest of the modern Mopar line they are controlled by the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) which may be part of the fuse block. Could be some damage to it or a relay in it.

After checking grounds, harness's, fueses (or lack of) I determined it had to be a problem with the body computer. we took the car to the Dodge dealer and I explained what I had done and what my conclusion was. $850 dollars later, a couple days and teraing the car apart......they called and said, yea the body computer was bad. Arghhh.
On a side note, while I had the front cover off waiting to put the new one on I determined at the assembly plant they had installed the incorrect wiring harness that runs through the front cover. right part number, but wrong part. The car has the active shutter (VIN correct) but no pigtail in the loom to plug into it. I tried to tell the service writer about it but he would not listen. He could not believe the car could possibly have been built wrong.
