Dodge needs to produce the New Dart as a 2 door model if it's going to discontinue the Challenger. Real musclecars like the Mustang and Camero (it's competitors) only have 2 doors! The Suits at Dodge have screwed up again.
I think I'll take my cash and buy a New Camero!! It Has 2 Doors!!

Again the Dart is not replacing the Challenger it is the Calibers replacement. Rumor is the new SRT vehicle to replace the Challenger will be named the Barracuda.

The Dart is just a small Family car , just like the Corolla / Focus ...2 doors are pretty pointless. I cant imagine a young growing family wasting money on a 2 door !!

It's not a muscle car and doesn't claim to be. Biggest mistake was probably keeping the name. But then again I don't care, I bought the car for other reasons.

Chrysler has indicated that the Dart is sporty looking yet is strictly for safety and cheaper with a lot of quality. it is the cheapest car out there for its quality. it was not made to compete with the Camaro or any other. it was made to compete the new Cadillac and ford system of touch screen quality which many customers find easier to use then the other ones. the uconnect is easy to navigate has an 8.4N touch screen and is more visible while driving
Safety is number one. as for the four doors, it acts as energy depletion keeping the passengers safe. and the doors are designed so that if there was impact on the side the doors could still be opened no matter what. that is why they have not made the two door yet.

This is coming from someone who is Chrysler trained to work on, sell, and service all Chrysler vehicles.
