I believe in the future that these 1.4l turbo engines will be able to get 300-400fwhp when the aftermarket catches up. Things such as bigger turbo's, forged pistons, head porting, stroker kits (possibly), computer tuning and more. Does anyone think I am crazy or do you believe the same?
As a Mustang owner i have seen first hand how something can start life as slow and bland then "bam" the aftermarket catches up and things start to take shape in a hurry

I think 300 will be no problem. Can the transmissions and rest of drivetrain handle it though?
