I was wonder if anyone took out the center console yet and had a removal walk thru I am planning on adding lights to the cup holder doesn't look like the cupholder itself comes out. going to be using el wire to go around the cupholders.
Also the cig lighter plug under the radio is iluminated was wondering if you could change a bulb to make it red instead of white and what you would have to remove to get to that.
As always any help is appreciated.

i'd be interested in knowing how you make out with that white cig lighter lamp under the radio... I'd definately change mine out to red if it was possible..

My Cup holders are lit but if it's possible to change that light from white to red as well I'd be interested in figuring that out.

We have some detailed instructions over on the ChallengerZ on how to change the led's out on the instrument panels. I imagine it would be similar. It does involve cut & solder.

soldering doesn't bother me I had the side panels off the console once already and couldn't see the lighter plug so its not gonna be easy to get to probably. Wish the cup holders came out so installing the lights around them would be easier.

I got my elwire for my cup holders big dis appointment wire lights up orange so trying something different found a flexiable tube that lights up white they also had a blue but no red so I'm in the process of finding the correct red led for the tube and hopefully it will look better then the elwire. if not may have to go with white around the cupholders like the factory option

Got my led's today and got one side soldered have to cut the plastic cord to length and solder another led to the other end but here is a pic with just one side lit up and it looks pretty good I think the pic makes it look orange but its red

are the cup holders the only bulbs you are trying to change out?

I have changed out most of my interior colors already. as I personally dont like red. so anything red besides the tft screen had to go.

but I can look at the cup holders and report back. If they are the same bulbs I already have used etc Im sure I can change from white to red or whatever color you have to what you are wanting.

again I will look at the cup holders to see the bulb type and work involved. Honestly I think mine are white which is part of my scheme so i didnt even barther looking. But i will.

man NOw you have me wondering what color they are, If they are the green color Thats gone I assure you. LOL

I just finished my cluster so once i get home from work i will install and take some pictures and post if the forum lets me.

My cup holders aren't lighted so I'm having to light them up myself using a clear cord and red led's

I'm still trying to locate the plastic cord so that I make these cheaper they are $25 at autozone and the led change out was abt .60 cents each and abt .25 cents a resistor very easy to make if you can solder. Let me know what you think. And if I can figure out how to get to the cig lighter light I will change out that led to red.

To get to the cig lighter 90 percent is clips there is however 1 screw behind the drivers side foot well plastic. To remove that first pop the plastic panel out on the left side of dash. There u will see two screws remove them. Then there is one screw on the bottom facing down close to the center console. That's it the rest is just clips. Use your hands and pull towards you then u can access the cig lighter very easy
