I plan to buy a new 2015 Dart as my second car. For the SXT model, I got a quota about $16787 from local dealers. It is not the best one compared with some shared prices by others in autopriceshare. However, I think it is fair for me and the dealer both. My last car is 2002 Civic and it is really reliable. For the 2015 Dart, I am not familiar with it. Compared some specialists' reviews, I trust the opinions from current owners more. In your opinion, is 2015 Dart SXT reliable? Thanks, friends

First, welcome to the Z family. Second, please take a minute to visit the Newbie check in section to receive a proper welcome.

Third to your question...

I've got a '15 GT, so my experience may be a little different than your own. I haven't had any issues in 5 months of ownership. I've added gas as needed, oil consumption has been non existent, and I haven't noticed any issues what so ever.

You can take a look around, see what others are saying. Check out the various sections of this site, as there is a specific section for mechanical problems, electrical, etc.

good luck

Mine is a 15 sxt and I love it...not a lot of miles tho so can't comment on long term reliability..I can caution you tho about another car I had ..11 cruze turbo...and I hated it..multitude of troubles..so I can at least advise you to avoid this car anyway and you can tell ppl you know who might be looking at these.

Hi

I have a '14 GT and no issues so far. Fun little car and I will soon be adding mods to it. Both it and my '06 Charger have been so good that the wife bought a '14 300.
Hondas are great (I owned a Prelude), but the Dart has tons more personality, space and style than the Civic. A civic is like getting ShopRite Vanilla ice cream: safe, familiar and inexpensive....but boring. The Dart is like getting Luiggi's Gelato: fun, sweet, rich ice cream...a touch exotic and not boring.

My wife's 2013 Limited was great up until recently.
In the last 3 months we have had to have the dealer replace: sirius antenna / rain sensor, trunk latch device (failed motor), some un-named connector on the back of uconnect 8.4, both front struts, and the battery.
It has 24k miles on it.

I have a 2015 Dart Aero 6 speed manual 26K miles. First started with the fuel tank pressure sensor after I got a CEL. front window regulators bc of the noise it made. Front passenger CV axle broke. Lower ball joint replaced at the same time. I've had the radio software updated and Uconnect updated, but still get the random reboots (white screen). Car went into limp mode twice on me so far.
