hmm.. that doesn't sound to normal.. what kind of "clunk" are you talking about? like a similar sound, and does the car feel like you are going over a speed bump when you do that?
i only ask cuz ive ran into these problems with motor mounts in my old cars.. i don't see how that could be possible in a brand new car though.. maybe you should def take it to a dealer to get it checked out.

Take it to the dealer to check your mounts.. I read somewhere about a person taking a test drive and smelling burnt rubber and it ended up being that the motor mounts were burning :/ weird
