Hi everyone, unfortunately a family member passed away this past week. Of the many things he owned, one was an extremely well maintained 66 dodge dart sedan. I have a few questions though, the breaks are completely shot and I have no idea where to get parts for this type of vehicle, its been sitting for four years and I know how to get it cranked but what would you all recommend for precautionary measures to get this thing going again, and I want to clean it up and customize it and I was wondering where parts like that are available. I'm going to upload pics shortly from where it sits, hopefully yall like it as much as I do! I've rebuilt six cars so far and have just flipped them all after we finished making them so it will be nice to get into a 60's v8 for a change.

Welcome to the Z from NC! Well first I will say that this forum is primarily for the new Dart but we may have a few older gear heads here. I would change the oil & filter before I would try to crank it, maybe even pull the distributor and spin the oil pump with a drill & driver bit to get the oil circulated. For normal parts you should be able to pick most anything like brakes (may need to order) from most parts houses.
