so i got my new fog lights today, and painted them up all pretty, but i have 2 problems with 1 step, when you have to de-pin the 2 wires on the BCM, anyone do this? or have advice? i have never fought with a plug so hard in my life, i did mobile electronics for 3 years and never came across a plug that was so difficult. and the next problem is in the instructions provided by mopar, in the written directions, it says to install a yellow/white wire into pin #3, and the other wire into pin #5, yet in the diagram its fliped, (yellow/white pin 5, other wire pin 3) anyone know the correct pinout? any help would be awesome!
thanks,

Fog lights

Hi Kyle, I had the exact same problem with mine. I work at a dealership, and I asked one of the technicians about the pin locations. And the text locations are right, the diagram picture has them flopped. As for the connector, I finally gave up, and paid one of the techs to extract the pins. But the BCM will still have to be flashed to update the car and let it recognize that it has fog lamps installed. Good luck! Other than that, how do you like the car so far?

i finally got pissed off with it an cut/soldered the wires. FOR ANYONE DOING THIS MOD, THE DIAGRAM IS INCORRECT, THE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LEFT ARE CORRECT. the lights look sick though, and i love the car, only thing thats bothering me is i have the SXT headlights, and want the RALLYE headlights, if they wernt 900$ a side at my local dealer.....

Fog Light issues

So i purchased the mopar foglights for my 2013 dodge dart and installed them yesterday. Like everyone else i was having issues depinning Pin 3 on the BCM because it had an existing wire. tried for half an hour and decided to splice the wires. I cut and stripped the brown wire in pin 3 and cut, stripped, and spliced the white/blue wire from the harness to it. Im not a genius with electricity so im not positive this connection is ideal for this situation. After the install i realized that when I unlock my car the left foglight flashes on with the headlights and the right one doesnt. So now i know the left fog light which corresponds with Pin 5(the non-spliced connection) works and the right fog light which corresponds with Pin 3(the spliced connection) does not work. Can someone help with this issue or give some advice on what could be wrong. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks guys!
