Anyone ordering a car should order the racetrack lighting, otherwise the lights on the trunk do not light. Anything you wish to get on the car will be much, much cheaper if you get it when you order it. when you order anything after purchase it will be tow to three times more money. Rims, lights or whatever. I learned this after buying a Challenger and now the Dart.

It is possible to buy the racetrack lighting rear panel that is for a keyless entry Dart for around $300. It will plug right in and work. There will be a small push switch for a trunk release, that is the cheapest way to go or you can buy the regular racetrack trunk piece for $900. The cheaper factory unit part #68090960AB. I got this info odd another site, the member ordered it from a good source and posted instructions with photos. I have some issues with my cars paint that once it gets worked out I plan on getting the light panel.

Racetrack LED install was retarded easy...5 bolts removed and 2 loosened on each end I think. Total time was about 30 minutes.

Looks awesome congrats! So you didn't have to remove the paneling under the trunk lid? It was just a simply straight plug and play?

the paneling did need to be removed, but it was easy. Forgot to include pics of the underside of the trunk lid naked.
Their is only one connector that needs to be removed for the old light, the new one is the same size & plugs right in.
Total time was still less than 30 minutes, and that was not rushing.
Now I gotta figure out what to do with the stock tail light assembly.
Might mod it with leds and try to sell it on ebay...

I still haven't received a shipping notice :( I need this now:D
Just a heads up, when you install the tailight those plastic push pins on the trunk liner are a royal PITA! Make sure you have something useful to wiggle them out of there, it will make installation much smoother.
