Hmm, I'll have to check and see if I have an open recall as well...thanks for posting this!
THANK YOU for posting a copy of your recall notice.

I just purchased a Dart SXT with the 1.4L turbo, dual dry clutch automatic, only 10 days ago.

I had it for six days, drove a total of 515 miles, and went to go leave for work last Friday and couldn't shift the car into reverse. I got an error message stating "gear not available".

I turned the car off and started over. i Was in total shock and thought maybe it was a computer glitch... When I tried again, then I received a message on my dash that said "Service Transmission".

I had the car towed back to the dealership, and as it turns out, the issue with my car is what is entailed in this recall notice.

The dealer told me that the cylinder for the odd gears was not properly sealed, that it had a manufacturer defect, and that it caused the hydraulic fluid to leak. Btw, I had a puddle on my driveway when they had towed my car away...

I was later informed by the dealership that my particular car was not included (for the list of cars) in the Technical Service Bulletin issued by Dodge, but yet I am having that exact same issue.

Anyone know where to find a copy of this TSB??

This is absurd. And on top of that, the dealer is having a hard time getting the part to arrive.... I hope your luck is better than mine, in getting your car repaired.

I have no estimate when I'm getting my car back.

Originally I was told Friday, that I would receive my car back today (after what would be 4 days at the dealer).

Now I'm being told by the dealer that they have no idea when the part is going to arrive, hence I have no idea when I get to resume driving my new car.

And this is why I called Dodge Customer Service tonight to complain.

I just spoke to the service department at my dealership, and he is stating that this only affects cars made from August to November and that most of them were re-inspected and fixed prior to delivery. Unless you get this letter in the mail, it probably doesn't affect you.
THANK YOU for posting a copy of your recall notice.

What ever happened here? What was the result?
