Well about a week after I picked up my Dart, I noticed a strange and annoying sound coming from the center console/gear shifter also a rattle/clunk when at idle and gas a slight rev to about 1500 rmp. I thought the engine had a bottom end problem. I took it in and they found the shifter cable was loose and it was rubbing against a plastic clip or something like that. and when they corrected that part it also corrected the rattle. I guess the cable came loose and would rattle at a certain point of rev. I'm relieved that it wasn't serious.

Glad they found the issue. It does not take much plastic against plastic to cause quite a rattle sound.
