Hey Guys

I was at the dealership about a month ago.
They told me that I need to change my engine mounts.
I live in Miami, there is a pothole in every mile,
well it seems that way. My car bottoms out when
I hit one. I wanted to know what's more important
to take care of. Motor mounts or Struts. If struts, then
what's the best brand to get Monroe or KYB?

A woman in Miami, that wants her car to feel like new..

It really depends on whether your struts are blown or not. If your mounts are pretty thrashed, I would replace them, rather than looking for new struts.

However, if your mounts are ok (dealer likes to upsell, we've all seen it), Monroe struts are hard to beat for the price. Im pretty sure they have a lifetime warranty, as well.

It just that my car is riding really rough, I feel every
pothole in the street. It sounds like metal hitting metal, when
I hit holes in the street. And it feels really rough under
the gas pedal. So I'm trying to demand what's causing the
most..

If the motor mounts are really bad, I would replace them first. Then, save more money to upgrade the struts. I have bilstein's on my car that I got from car|truck shocks - 4wheelonline, and I'm very pleased with the ride quality.
