I suggest that I get off my butt and post some of the threads that need posting in this section. . . .

Yes that's a great idea GT, because the members could use some of that useful information contained in them!

Ahh but I have had one too many Crown Royals tonight. . . and need a nap.

Something else we can try to do for groups. it be cool to have different groups depending on what MOTOR you have. People could join them all, or just stick to their group where the groups discuss mods they've done to their own specific engines or even what they've done to the car and only wanna share it with a group and not the entire forum. I think that be pretty cool. Then only allow members with say "X" number posts create groups, this way you don't have to worry about the group number getting out of control. For example.. i would personally like to be in the 2.4 motor group.. and also make a group names "lighting guru's" where I can share ideas and vise versa with other people who like to 'light up' their rides.

ideas on this?

im not too fond of the requirements on the for sale theads. seems a bit high considering how new these cars are. this place is likely gonna get alot of new people for a while. just cuz im new doesnt mean im not trustworthy. requirements make sense, just not so high, these threads are still in the infant stages as far as a forum goes. also groups for where people are from would be nice. you know for northwest guys and midwest guys and such?

damn. ok. well im pretty much gonna be on every thread for the next 12 days or so just to be able to post a WTB/WTT thread. ill try not to just post useless junk with no valid conversation points.
There is also the option of becoming a site supporter. This would remove the posting requirements and do away with all those ads.

i have considered being a site supporter. i had already looked into becoming a site supporter before i knew that it would remove such restrictions and ads. but paypal being my only option was what turned me away. i refuse to make a paypal account for various personal reasons.
