I have a 2015 Dodge Dart SXT 2.4 Engine
I've replaced the lock actuator on my trunk lid and it still won't open. I've did visual check of the fuses they look fine ..but there's no power going to thr back.

I hear clicking noise when I press the trunk release button underneath my steering wheel. My key fob when I press twice the lights flash but I dont hear the clicking nose coming from the back.

I've been having the same issue as well... from what I've learned with the research I've done trying to pinpoint as close as possible what the issue is, apparently the gears inside the trunk latch unit are plastic. Not just for the Dart, but for most "newer" model dodge vehicles. (I've seen as early as 2009)... so I just ordered a trunk latch unit from Amazon. Crossing my fingers. I do rideshare. It's super frustrating, embarrassing and inconvenient to have to get out, pull the back of the back seats down, pull the paracord to release the emergency plastic trunk open thing... then have to shut it myself to make sure it shuts correctly, put the paracord on the back dash where I keep it coiled up, and put the back of the back seats back up so they can get in...

Will update as soon as I know. I should have the part Sunday... good juju and positive vibes are welcome... lol. o_O🤪🥴🤞🤞🤞
