NEW: Add OEM GARMIN Navigation

What's going on NAV TV? I personally plan on leaving the in dash radio in (lol no reason to pull that out) and replace all of my door speakers with high performance Memphis speakers to get those crisper louder highs and mids. Then I think for the bass I'll do a custom trunk box with either 2 10's or 2 12's...not sure yet.

I would definately be interested in upgrading to the garmin nav to my stock unit. I would also like to know if we could get this 8.4 in screen to play videos and movies bc that would be great; or if there was an aftermarket unit which can perform that task. Does anyone know if there is a factory amp in the car if I do not have the upgraded subwoofer i would like to add one.

Where did you order you hids from and how difficult was the install? from the looks of it i have to take out the headlight to get to the bulb

I plan on putting my Rockford 12" P1 subs(2) in with a ported box and my 1200 watt Rockford amp. Nice thing about the dart it has plenty of trunk room Just hope I can hook them into my UConnect 8.4 and be able to adjust it okay.

If you go to www.coastaletech.com they have a piece that can unlock the 8.4 screen to be able to do anything. It unlocks all functions in motion as well as let's you play video and has all the audio/video inputs to hook up anything you'd like even a front cam.

I have the 8.4 touch screen without the nav is it possible to add the nav and is the 8.4 capable of watching movies on I have a single disc cd player will it play dvds as well? or do you have to ad a dvd player?

I plan on getting the kicker frontrow dsp to clean up the stock sub and amp. I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with it or other crossovers/dsp's

Im looking into maybe upgrading my system but Im not sure what to get. Im not looking to blow ear drums or anything but I do want a touch screen. I figured I would buy a car that didnt really have to many options cause I would just do it myslelf and it would cost me less. Im starting to think that was a bad idea cause I dont have a clue on what is good now a days lol

I used a low output converter to install my 15" boss phantom sub paired with a 1500 single chanel mosfet amp and was very dissapointed with the outcome. First, when I went to install the converter, I noticed that I didn't have any speakers above the trunk. In my 2012 Avenger, for a while I used a converter until I eventually was able to get an aftermarket deck. It had the speakers above the trunk and worked out fairly well. So without being able to use those rear speakers, I went on to wire it to the front door speakers. I'm not really sure if that is where I messed up on it or not. Does anybody know if redoing this with the rear door speakers would make a difference? Also, I have been trying to find a wiring diagram so that I could wire in the aftermarket deck. Of course I would fabricate the mounting but that is too easy. Honestly, after about 10 minutes of trying to tune the amp and the stereo it's self, I ended up unhooking the sub.

you can easlily grab signal from the back door speakers or front. THe wires are easy to get too. simple behind the plastic and then cut the tape for the back doors they are the only ones that are twisted.

Anyone know if the speaker wires for the back deck are run and tucked away or will I have to pull from a junction or the rear door wires? I'm not getting much depth from my rear doors so I'm thinking of upgrading all the speakers and adding the rear deck 3.5s while I'm at it. Its almost scarry what will fit in the trunk!!
