What models do you guys plan on purchasing or would buy if you were interested in a Dart?

Personally id prefer a 2.4 because a simple cold air exhaust and a few ECU has been tested to obtain 243 HP. But im very drawn to the Turbo'd 1.4 for major torque and stock turbo. But Dodge did not convince me to purchase it right away ill be saving up for the SRT4 if it ever comes out. I found this link to be quite helpful in reashuring for a SRT4 release.

We're very interested in a Dart. Hubs wants something a little better on gas to get to work but wants to have something cool that he can mod too! Such a guy!

We're leaning towards a Rallye, but who knows. Really want to see it in the flesh before making a commitment.:)

Yeah the Ralley is one of the best choices to pick i would go with that one if it was all wheel drive. And the 2.4 has so much potential to be more with some extra cash. But im only gona buy the Dart in the SRT4 model only.

I found for the tech I wanted, the limited / RT trims were my only choices. The TFT screen being chief among them. Since the RT won't be out until Q3 somtime I opted for the limited. (1/4 million miles on my Sunfire, hoping it will last)

I definately agree the 2.4 would have been fun to play with but I think the 1.4T will be a lot of fun too.

I don't believe the SRT4 version will be out until 2014 sometime.

rallye

I went with the rallye 1.4L turbo black, black/red interior...i don't think the 2.0L would be much fun to drive...the turbo/manual will be a lot of fun.

speaking of manual transmission, i got my first lesson yesterday on a friend's mustang (manual) *i've never drove a manual* hahaha lame i know

I can't drive a manual either, LOL. If I learn before I purchase, definitely getting a manual.;)

I am impatiently waiting for the R/T. I want the TFT display but don't like the chrome headlights and door handles of the Limited and perfer the blacked out grill and bumper of the R/T and Rallye. Any updates on the Q3 availability of the R/T. Hope the order system is open soon.
I plan on going with the R/T and Hyper Black wheels. Probably in Redline Red Pearl but possibly will go with the Blue Streak Pearl

I bought one of the Redline drive away cars with the 1.4 turbo and 6 speed. I havent had a stick in about 25 years, but once you learn you never forget. It is extremely smooth. I cant wait to do some mods on it. It will be interesting to see if the aftermarket runs with the car. I sure hope so. The best part of the turbo is driving it with the windows open and hearing the turbo whistle up as you accelerate :)

For the options we wanted, a fully loaded Ralley or SXT was about the same as the limited. Plus the limited had features that were not available on the other models.
We weren't really concerned with speed, mpg was the focus - which is why we opted for the 2.0 N/A. It has been great so far. Waiting for a CAI or drop in filter so we can squeeze 1-2 more mpg out of it.
