It looks like dodge has made a Huge mistake! The new Dart has 4 DOORS!!
I thought it was produced to replace the larger and heavier Challenger, which can't compete with the Mustang and Camero. Who the hell wants 4 doors. The competitors have two doors and any self respecting muslecar owner would drive a 2 door. I have owned 7 vehicles and not 1 had 4 doors. Even when married with a son I drove a 2 door! If dodge doesn't produce a 2 door Dart, I'll take my cash and buy a New Camero!!

The dart is replacing the Caliber. Rumor is the Challenger replacement in 2014 will be called the Barracuda.

The original Dart had 4 doors too, the 2 door version came later. (swinger)

I hear rumor that there is a hatchback model in the works for the current Dart but for the life of me I can't find where I seen that at.

You needed to start 2 separate threads just to inform us you don't like 4 doors. Seriously? LOL! Well my advice is to move on and find a vehicle more suited to your needs. I'm reasonably sure this car is going to be a huge hit with all age groups whether you approve or not. But thanks for your opinion.

Oh, and if your gonna buy a camaro, you should also learn how to spell it! LOL!

Thanks volkgt06 for the clarity on the challenger replacement. Will the new Cuda have 2 doors, and the Hemi available?

The Dart has always been a four door car, later cam the 2 door and the station wagon. I actually owned a 74 valiant (Plymouths's Dart). It was the same thing that the new Dodge Dart is. That is a four door compact car, thats economical.
