Two days ago as I was pulling away from a stop sign (not jackrabbiting, quit that 40 years ago) I heard a small "snap" sound and the tach needle jumped up then immediately dropped back down. After that it would not move above between 1.5 and 2 on the dial, not matter how I drove. I took it to the dealer this morning, the service manager drove it into the service bay and it was still not working. The mechanic got in, test drove it and it was working again! They called Chrysler and were told this was the second complaint they had received and were not able to duplicate it. The mechanic could not duplicate it here either. So they sent me home and told me to call back in a couple days if is was still working so they could close out the local ticket.
